Making Science Education in Ghana More Interactive

In Ghana, science education is more theoretical than practical. Students learn science by memorizing the concepts to get good grades as opposed to understanding the real world application. This is how the education system is set-up in Ghana.

I recently had the chance to visit the Arizona Science Center and I was blown away by how much fun I was having. The same scientific concepts I had studied by rote just to excel in class were being applied to solve problems in society. My solution is to create a center like this in Ghana.

Please join me in helping create a space in Ghana where students and families can have an opportunity to see science live in action. I believe all Ghanians should have the chance to have fun, while learning about science. If you would like to help me achieve this, please leave a comment below.
